Aerial yoga does just that, allowing you to shed old habits and create a new way of being in the body. Aerial yoga takes you beyond the mat into a more 3 dimensional practice where gravity can work to open the body and release chronic areas of holding. This class includes standard yoga poses with the support of the hammock and inversions suspended above the floor. Not recommended if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, glaucoma or during pregnancy or heavy menstruation.
